Escapade Information Sheet
The Escapade is a 38-foot Canaveral certified for 24 divers. She can cruise at speeds up to 20 knots to reduce travel time to the dive sites. The safety and navigational equipment includes; GPS, radar, radio, first aid and oxygen. We visit dive sites in Monterey and Carmel Bay based upon weather and ocean conditions.
Crew: Experienced skipper, crew and dive masters to insure your comfort and safety. We offer the freedom of unsupervised buddy diving or guides are available by prior arrangement.
Location & Directions: Departures are from the “K” Dock at the Monterey Marina. Traveling south on Highway 1; take Del Monte/Monterey exit; follow Del Monte to Old Fishermans Wharf Parking Lot entrance: “K” dock is located just to the right of the public boat ramp next to the Harbormasters office.
What is provided: Beverages, snacks and 2 tanks of air. Nitrox is available when requested at the time of booking.
What to bring: Dive Gear, C Card and personal items. Equipment may be brought aboard in soft bags only.
Arrival: 30 minutes prior to departure in order to assemble gear and suit up prior to boarding.
Departure Schedule: Weekend trips are scheduled year round. Please check the schedule for departure times. Midweek trips, night dives and tour-guided trips are available upon prior arrangement.
Cancellation Policy: Customer cancellations may be rescheduled if notice is received at least 72 hours prior to scheduled trip. Cancellation of confirmed trips by Dive Central due to weather or mechanical failure will be rescheduled or refunded.
Parking: Available in the Fishermans Wharf parking lot. Metered or ticketed parking is available. Unloading area is at the top of “K” dock.
Rates/Booking: Scheduled trips are $85 per person for a 2 tank dive in Monterey or Carmel. Full payment is required to confirm booking. Pricing is available on request for specialty trips such as underwater guides, instruction, private groups, extended trips, etc. Book a dive today at selected dive shops or Dive Central.
