Northeast Charter Boat Company will help you to plan your private offshore fishing trip, SCUBA dive, sightseeing cruise, burials at sea, and more. Northeast Charter Boat Company hosts family groups, organizations and clubs, corporate clients, dive groups and individuals year round. Whether you are planning an event for two or two hundred we can help.
Private charters are available year round, weather permitting. We welcome you aboard our vessels for a trip full of fun and adventure.
Our Captains
*Master Captain Debbie Jordan
Captain Debbie has been around boats and the water since she was a young child. She has cruising experience in the Great Lakes, Erie Canal, St. Lawrence Seaway, and Atlantic Ocean coastline including the Gulf of Maine. As a certified Master scuba diver, she has experienced many of our local dive locations. Captain Debbie is also certified as an instructor trainer in CPR by the American Heart Association and is a First Aid Instructor for the National Safety Council.
*Master Captain Bill Lussier
Captain Bill has over 20 years experience fishing the Gulf of Maine, Jeffery`s Ledge and the local rivers. His catches have included mackeral, cod, haddock, striped bass, porbegal shark, blue shark, and giant bluefin tuna to list a few. Captain Bill is a certified technical scuba diver who has spent many hours exploring the local dive sites. He has a special interest in and knowledge of local shipwrecks.
Our Boats
*Sushi Seeker is a 36` sport-fishing vessel equipped for scuba diving and offshore fishing. Built for high performance in heavy weather and powered by a 3208 Catapiller diesel engine, the Sushi Seeker is set up for the serious fisherman. The power winch is designed to simply and quickly load even the largest of sharks or giant tuna. The large cockpit area provides plenty of room to move around for scuba divers. The boat is equipped with a large, sturdy ladder for over the side boarding of divers.
*Branch Office, a 10.8 meter Trojan International powerboat, is used primarily for our Downeast Clambake cruising, Burials at sea, and sightseeing. Branch Office is powered by twin 454 Crusader engines with a cruising speed of 18-21 knots. The boat is heated and air conditioned with full a galley and all the comforts of home. The boat also has a generator, hot and cold fresh water, head with shower, cell phone, tv/vcr, stereo, and more.
*The Dusky, a 22` center console is specifically set up for river fishing, such as for stripers and blue fish andfitted with a ladder for drift diving. With a 225hp Yamaha Four-Stroke engine it can move us up and down the river in comfort and quickly. The Duskys spacious deck makes it comfortable for a boat of its length.
Our vessels, Branch Office.Sushi Seeker,and Dusky each accommodates up to 6 passengers. For your safety, all vessels are equipped with GPS, Loran, radar, fish finders/depth sounders, and marine radios. We also carry an emergency radio beacon transmitter, oxygen and first aid equipment on board each vessel. Our Captains are licensed USCG Masters and are assisted by a seasoned crew.

*Offshore Deep Sea Fishing
For your fishing comfort, we limit the number of anglers based on the type of fishing being done. Marathon and long distance trips can be arranged. We practice catch & release with all species that are not going to be table fare for the angler.
*Sightseeing Cruises
Explore picturesque Portsmouth Harbor on your own private sightseeing cruises. Cruise by the historic Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for a glimpse of a submarine or the one of several Coast Guard cutters stationed in Portsmouth.

Location description:
Explore our favorite local spots along the Piscataqua River, Isles of Shoals, Boon Island, Nubble Light, and the coastal waters off New England. Divers themselves, our captains can take you to their favorite locations or the destination of your choice. Night dives, scallop dives, and seal dives are available. Restrictions apply in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Our Dive Destinations:
*Isles of Shoals
The islands and ledges at the Isles of Shoals offer an abundance of exciting sights both above and below sea level.
*The Wall and Lovers Leap
Rock wall with a number of interesting formations, overhangs, crevices and large boulders.
*Memorial Cove (Powerhouse Cove)
Varied bottom from sandy to large rocks. Underwater memorial to diver Jay Lewis, who lost his life to a boating accident.
*Seal Cove and Mingo Rock
This area hosts a large community of seals all year round. They sunbathe on the rocks and occasionally swim with divers. (The Marine Mammal Protection Act prohibits anyone from approaching seals.)
*Jimmies Ledge
The area is all ledges, and the bottom is very clear. There is occasional seal activity.
*Devils Gorge
The gorge contains plenty of sea life and vegetation and is ideal for photography.
*Appledore Cove (Broad Cove)
This area is well protected and contains a variety of sea life as well as ledges and a sandy bottom.
*Babbs Rock
The shore line is made up of ledge, which descends to a sand and gravel bottom with occasional protruding ledges. On the north side of the area, the remains of a World War II pier provide a spectacular view of flora and fauna.
*Cedar Island
Beautiful plant life that is ideal for photography. Bottom is a mixture of rocks and sand.
*Pyramid Valley
The cove contains rocks, crevices and small rock formations that resemble pyramids, as well as a great deal of sea life.
*Cedar Island Ledge
The depth drops dramatically to well over 100`. The bottom consists of an interesting grouping of ledge, boulders and large granite slabs, which form caves. Flora and fauna abound.
*Gosport Harbor
The bottom is mud and gravel, but the area is noted for clay pipes, bottles and other artifacts.
*Boon Island
In the spring and early summer, seals visit the area. They sunbathe on the rocks and occasionally swim with divers. (The Marine Mammal Protection Act prohibits anyone from approaching seals.)
*Boon Island Ledge (Empire Knight)
A wreckage field of the vessel `Empire Knight`. Lots of marine growth and fish life. Visibility can vary and is best in the spring before too much algae gets in the water.
*Nubble Light
A small cove on the Northeast side is suitable for novice divers and accessible from shore. The bottom is a mixture of rock, sand and cobble. Sea life is abundant and varies with the season.
