Company description Welcome to Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Relax and enjoy boat diving at its best! Join us in an intimate exploration of Hawaii`s spectacular underwater world. Leave the crowds behind as our experienced crew introduces you to the uniqueness of diving on the Kona Coast. Our goal has always been to provide our guests with professional and informative service while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. We want our divers to explore Kona`s lush tropical reefs and marine life at their own pace and in their own style. You won`t be rushed or herded here and there...and you won`t hear air horns or clangers...just bubbles and maybe the sound of dolphins and whales singing in the distance.

Pacific Rim Divers is owned and operated by Frank and Patrice Heller. After spending many years diving all over the world, Kona has become one of our favorite diving destinations. We would love to share the beauty and diversity of diving the Big Island of Hawaii with you.
We offer you the type of diving we enjoy most. To us that means small groups, flexibility and professional, personalized, friendly service.
Our customers tell us what type of diving they want to do. Lava Tubes, wall dives, turtles, manta rays, you choose the dive sites (with a little input from Mother Nature and Captain Dave or Frank). If you bring your own equipment with you, we are happy to set it up, break it down and rinse it after your days diving. We are always willing to share our opinions on fun and interesting ``top side`` places to go things to see and of course our favorite places to eat
Pacific Rim Divers` goal is to provide you with a relaxed atmosphere so that you may explore Kona`s underwater world at your own pace and in your own style.
Our 2 tank boat dive departs daily from Honokohau Marina and small boat Harbor just 2 miles north of Kailua-Kona.
Meeting Time: Our meeting time is 7:30 am. We return between 12:00 and 1:00.
Dive Sites: Our dive sites for the day are determined on the morning of the dive based on the interests of our divers and the days weather conditions.
Dive equipment: Our quality dive equipment can be rented for the day if needed. We have masks, fins, snorkels, BC`s, regulators, computers, 3mm full wetsuits or 3-5 mm shorties depending on sizes needed. Water temp. varies from 72 degrees in winter months to 82 degrees in summer.
Beverages and snacks: Water, juice, cookies, crackers, fresh fruit and of course homemade brownies (need you even ask?) are provided.
3 tank dives, long range dives, manta ray night dives, Discover Scuba diving, PADI courses are available on request. Please contact us for more information (minimum number of divers may be required for some activities).
Location description: The Kona Coast offers unparalleled scuba diving and is home to beautiful reef life, spectacular visibility, interesting lava tubes, turtles, hundreds of species of fish, magnificent mantas, dolphins, whales and so much more.
Our customers are very important to us and we work very hard to please them. You can count on us for the service and special attention that comes from small group diving (we never take more than 6 passengers). Our customers benefit from such special touches as our insights and pre-dive briefing about each site we visit, Patrice`s World Class ``fresh baked`` brownies provided between dives and clean up of your equipment when the day is done.
