| Excursions to the Channel Islands National Park
Truth Aquatics is ``an official concessionaire to the Channel Islands National Park`` which grants us the rights to land passengers on the islands for hiking or camping on both single and multiple day excursions. We are extremely excited to be able to offer this unique opportunity. The best way to explore the islands is on a 2 or 3 day excursion where all meals, snacks and beverages are included in the price. Enjoy hiking after a breakfast cooked to order. While on the Island a naturalist will guide you on trails through canyons, grassy knolls, and white sandy beaches that numb your senses. Kayak, swim, snorkel, or scuba dive in the afternoon, then settle in for barbeque steak dinner and take in a sunset only found at the Channel Islands. Wake up the next morning and start all over again at a different Island.
Corporations, Travel agencies, and individual groups are welcomed. These trips are the perfect get-a-way for those who are seeking solitude and and a location to provide a company team building event. Island fox, birds, pinnapeds (seals and sea lions), deer, and elk are all just a sample of what is available for viewing. Unlike going ashore at Catalina, setting foot on these islands is what our coastline must have been like a century ago. Dive area: All offshore Islands of Southern California. Primary destination of Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, San Miguel Islands. Other Islands visited are Catalina, Santa Barbara, San Clemente, San Nicolas, and Cortez Banks.
Cost: Individual prices vary depending on charteree. All multi day trips include all meals, snacks, beverages (excluding alcoholic), and air refills

The next time you consider getting away for a few days of rest and relaxation, think about a live aboard cruise to the Channel Islands National Park and Marine Sanctuary. A popular misconception is these cruises are for avid divers only. Non-divers alike can enjoy the ultimate in peaceful relaxation--no crowds to fight, no lines, no tourist traps, only kayaking, fishing, sunbathing, whale watching, taking advantage of a boon of photo-ops both above and below the water, or just lounging around taking in breathtaking sunsets. Some trips are designed to include hiking on the Channel Islands National Park. The Channel Islands are fast becoming a worldwide dive destination due to its marine diversity.
Diving in the Kelp Forests of the Channel Islands
Diving in the kelp forests around the Channel Islands is a unique experience for divers more accustomed to tropical waters. Similar to tropical waters, the waters are clear with lavish flora and fauna representing every hue imaginable, but unlike tropical diving giant kelp offers another dimension to your dive. Diving in kelp is similar to a walk in a lush forest of trees with these plants growing to heights of more than 120 feet. Giant kelp helps support an aquatic ecosystem that provides domicile for over more than 800 species of marine life.
On our Multi-Day Kayak Adventures when the weather is right, kayaking from Island to Island is an experience only a few people have had. Kayaking with Dolphins, Whales and Sea Lions is an adventure beyond words. Paddling over lush kelp beds allows you to play hide and seek with seals and sea lions hiding in this marine forest.
Please note the cost of the trip does not include any gratuity for service and help you receive from the crew. Tipping is not required but sincerely appreciated when earned. The crews are always trying to make your trip special through their efforts. With this in mind, a $10.00 per day gratuity is customary.
