PADI is one of the most highly respected and sought after dive educators in the world. With PADI`s current market share standing at around 67%, your employment and career opportunities are huge.
The scuba industry is a very competitive market, so you want to make sure you receive the best training available.
You need training that comes from experienced teachers. That`s why we believe we can offer you one of the best Instructor Development courses (IDC) available.
Your PADI Course Director is Kevin Burke, a diving professional for 15 years and associated with PADI instructor training for 9. As well as teaching in Europe, Asia, and Australia, he has owned and run his own dive school, is a qualified marine biologist, and holder of a Master Class 5 skippers ticket.
For the last couple of years he has been involved with up to 12 PADI IDC programs a year, and is now associated with different PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centres both along the east coast of Queensland (in Cairns and Noosa), and also Thailand. He is also proud of the fact that of all the IDC programs he has run he still has a 100% pass rate. Aquapro now schedules up to 12 IDC programs per year.
Our IDC is different from many of the others you will see advertised. We go above and beyond the minimum requirements set by PADI, and have a proven track record that our unique system works. We have extra academic, confined water, and open water training exceeding the minimum number required by PADI. We will also do a skill assessment and development sessions, to ensure your skill demonstrations are of the highest standard.
We feel our IDC is second to none - it is better value for money than the competition, with pass rates better than most others. We also are the only ones to offer unique traineeships (as opposed to other companies that pay very small amounts of money to ``help`` you pay off your IDC, whilst all you may do is fill tanks and act as a look out) both in Cairns and Vanuatu. These help you gain valuable experience for free whilst we help you find paid employment as a professional dive instructor.
Our program exposes you to ALL aspects of Instruction, and you will gain REAL hands on experience.

-Instructor Preparatory Course ( IPC )
This short course is an optional, non-certification course unique to Aquapro. The IPC lasts for approximately five days and is designed to give potential IDC candidates low stress, experience in learning academic, confined and open water ....
-Assistant Instuctor Course ( AI )
The new PADI A.I. course was designed to give Divemasters additional teaching, certification and income opportunities.....
-Instuctor Development Course ( IDC )
Successful completion of an IDC is a prerequisite for admittance to an Instructor Evaluation (IE)...........
-Emergency First Responce Instructor (EFRI)
As a PADI EFRI you will be able to offer a more complete service to your Rescue, Advanced plus, and Divemaster students, by not having to send them elsewhere.........
-Instructor Examination ( IE )
Instructor Examiners from PADI Asia Pacific, conduct this phase. The purpose of the program is to evaluate your theoretical knowledge and instructional abilities.....
-Specialty Instructor
