Company description Calypso Reef Charters is a family owned and operated company providing daily reef cruises, sailing and private boat charters from the Marina Mirage, Port Douglas to the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park in Queensland, Australia. Dive the Great Barrier Reef with Calypso. Explore the wonders of Australia`a Wold Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, visiting spectacular coral gardens with abundant marine life. Divers can enjoy up to three dives per day at three different sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef.
All diving is guided by qualified Dive Masters/Instructors and in small groups (maximum 8 divers for Certified Diving and 4 divers for Introductory Diving).
We cater for all levels of experience.
We operate under PADI, the largest SCUBA dive organisation in the world.

Introductory Diving:
No experience is necessary to SCUBA dive.*
While travelling on Calypso to the reef, your PADI Dive Instructor will take you through a Discover Scuba Diving Brief highlighting all safety procedures and skills.
Once at the reef you will practice your skills both on the boat and in the water before being taken on a 30-40 minute dive with your Instructor to explore spectacular coral reefs with abundant marine life.

Calypso operates daily from Port Douglas, located 70 km north from Cairns.
