Company description You can find us at our new dive centre one of the largest in Queensland. We have moved to new premises. We became a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre October 2003. April 2004 we became Brisbane`s second PADI 5 Star IDC Centre. One of Australia`s best known Course Directors Peter Payne will be conducting PADI Instructor Development courses regularly throughout the year.
We have separate training and equipment premises ensuring availability 7 days a week. We have a specifically designed dive pool, semi heated for the winter months.

In the world of diving, one organization truly stands out – the Professional Association of Diving Instructors … or PADI, year after year. PADI and the Redcliffe Dive Centre, makes diving enjoyable by establishing the highest industry standards for dive training, safety and customer service.
At the Redcliffe Dive Centre we operate our own Dive Boat operating in the Moreton Bay Marine Park, in and around Moreton Island. We keep all our dive trips to small groups of 3-8. This way we can promise you that personal caring service that we are known for and proud of. We operate trips 7 days a week; this enables us to conduct your course and your dives individually on any day of the week. All our dive trips will depart with a maximum of 6 divers, our trips are ½ day trips usually departing at 7.15am after a 7.00 am meet and returning around 12.30 - 1 pm. We do conduct trips at other departure times by demand. Your trip includes Tanks, Weight belt and Refreshments. Don’t forget we also conduct night dives and beach dives.
As a recognized PADI Dive Centre we have succeeded in the demanding PADI Instructional Courses
and are qualified to teach you the worlds best way to dive. The quality of our courses from all our Instructors is of the highest standard available. Combined with that, we have a fully operational service and air conditioned training centre, which includes our own specifically design training pool over 3 metres deep. Redcliffe Dive Centre has it`s Dive Shop located in the fantastic Peninsular Fair Shopping Centre. At our training facilities we are proud of our purpose built dive pool 5 metres wide, 10 metres long and over 3 metres deep. We have an air-conditioned training room, technicians room plus our compressor area for both Air/nitrox filling. This is also our meeting and departure point for most of our dive trips.
Redcliffe Dive Centre has a variety of staff including Dive masters, Instructors, Staff Instructors and including 2 Master Instructors. These two Master Instructors have a combined diving experience of over 30 years and over 7000 dives all over the world. To reach the level of Master Instructor takes a degree of dedication and achievement and is only reached by a few PADI professionals. The opportunity and benefits to our students from PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced and Rescue, including Dive master trainees and newly certified PADI Instructors to be involved with PADI professionals of this stature ensures that course participants achieve the highest level of training at no extra cost.
We here at the Redcliffe Dive Centre want all our students to learn from the best without having been concerned with hidden costs and additional expenditure. Our PADI Instructors and Master Instructors are the best, at no extra cost to your budget you will get courses with a maximum number of 6, for the majority of courses your theory and pool work is conducted on an individual basis to ensure your ability and confidence is spot on before entering the ocean. If you need extra tuition, its all included as part of the service we offer. By offering a personal, professional, caring learning environment, we know our divers once certified will have the confidence and ability to continue on with their diving career, using the Safe Diving practices our PADI Instructors have taught them in their dive course.

We at Redcliffe Dive Centre believe in bringing to you only the best dive equipment on the market. This equipment has been tested and is unbeatable in almost all tests they are put to. Their prices are competitive, their support of their product unbeatable.
As well as servicing all the above equipment we are also able to service many others brands not listed.. Bring it in and if necessary we can give you a quote prior to servicing for you.
We have three full time fully qualified service technicians on staff.
Need your equipment serviced to Nitrox standards, not a problem bring it in.
We fill both air and Nitrox so next time you need your tank filled bring it in.

Bring your tank in and we will arrange for its testing and valve servicing ensuring safe diving for your future dives.
If you have a steel tank or Aluminium Tanks that needs to be cleaned - we can do that for you.

We now have 3 full time technicians available to ensure your equipment is returned to you as soon as possible.
Want to dive the weekend away, how about these fantastic sights: Trips include light supper on the Friday night and all meals for the rest of the trip, air fills, air conditioned sleep area, hot showers, experienced dive leaders, upto 8 dives on the two day two night weekends and upto 12 dives on the three day three night weekends.
Modern electronic navigational aids include satellite navigation, GPS, radar, automatic pilot, depth sounder and computer plotter. A significant factor in operating a vessel safely, satellite navigation makes it possible for the crew to establish the vessel`s exact location (to within 3 metres or less) in seconds, at any time of day or night, in any weather. In addition to assisting with navigation, radar also provides the crew with a means of checking the position of other vessels within a range of over 110 kilometres. The colour depth sounder gives an extra aspect of safety when travelling near areas of shallow water. Communication systems comprise of HF, VHF, and UHF radio, as well as sea phone and satellite phone, with the range of operation far exceeding that of the vessel.
As with all ocean diving, the choice of location is dependent upon tides, currents, and weather conditions, and may be subject to alteration. However, you are still assured of a trip to the Southern Great Barrier Reef where it truly is….as good as it gets!!
Cancellations earlier than 45 days before departure with be refunded less your deposit. Cancellations after this time will only be refunded if a replacement passenger is found to fill the space.
