Company description Fish Rock Dive Centre is a fully equipped dive resort and training facility owned and operated by Peter & Jon. In addition to the on-site accommodation which we own and service, we offer a range of facilities for diving and recreation.
Our on-site, pool is used for training and recreation.
Fill station. We also offer nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers, nitrox try dives for those yet to complete the required training and nitrox courses.
Underwater cameras - film and digital for hire and training.
Secure drying room and wash area. We have a laundry for our guests use.
Our recreational area has BBQs for our guests use and plenty of space for relaxing and socialising and a tropical setting around the pool area. Divers and non-divers alike have no trouble relaxing around our Dive Centre.

We usually run double dives out to our dive sites choosing the best dive sites depending on weather conditions, diver experience and of course diver preferences!! We understand that most divers are keen to dive Fish Rock Cave for at least one of the two dives and plan accordingly.
We spend the surface interval on the boats during which time we provide light refreshments. Our usual bottom time for dives is 45-60 minutes each dive and most dives are multilevel. We highly recommend use of personal dive computers to allow you maximum flexibility in your dive plan. Our highly experienced staff are on hand to assist you with your dive planning and we provide at least one often two dive guide on every dive boat. However we do not expect divers to dive or finish their dives in a group; buddy pairs are welcome to dive to their own individual dive plan. We keep our dive groups small and personal - no cattle truck here!!
Charters are usually available 7 days a week; we will run a charter for a minimum of two divers booked in advanced. If you are on your own please contact us.
If you do not want to drive then dive consider staying in our on site divers` lodge - just fall out of bed and go diving!
Prior booking is always a good idea to ensure you are not disappointed but if you suddenly find yourself free for a dive do get in touch! If you are buddy less do not worry we can find you a suitable buddy. If you have particular requirements please let us know and if we are able to accommodate you we will do so happily.
We welcome individuals, couples, groups and clubs for a day, weekend, couple of days or longer.
Generally we ask for our divers to have a minimum level of dive experience of 30 dives including dives to 30 metres, recent dives and preferably some night or wreck diving experience for diving some of our dive sites (eg deep entrance Fish Rock Cave). There is flexibility in this so please do contact by phone or email to discuss your current level so we can assess your experience.
We do offer dives for the less experienced diver so get in touch and of course learn to dive options!
Your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.
The Boat - we have one MSB surveyed vessel for dive charter and dive course use. Both carry oxygen and first aid and emergency equipment. Coming soon, Our new purpose built 7.5m boat (designed by us as the perfect dive platform).
What you need to bring - some sun screen and a hat are a good idea during warmer weather, and a warm top and hat during the cooler months will keep you warm when you are not in the water. Don`t forget your camera for those elusive whale shots! And remember we have underwater cameras for hire too - let us know if you would like one - they are designed to be very easy to use and have a choice of wide angle and macro lenses for a range of shots.

Yet just a day trip away are the busy resorts of Port Macquarie to the south and Coffs Harbour to the north.
