Location description: Aqua X-treme does freediving trips to Stradbroke and Moreton Island. If you enjoy the pure enjoyment of freediving, we will take you to some of best sites around Brisbane. If the thrill of the hunt is what you are after join us for a spearfishing charter. Catches regularly include Mackerel, Yellowtail Kingfish, Cobia, Parrot, Sweetlip, Mangrove Jacks, Red Emperor, Trevally, Tuna, Barracuda and several other species.
We also organize weekend getaways for groups to destinations around Queensland and New South Wales.
Want to get some pelagics ? Join us onboard the Odyssey for a four day trip around the Bunker Group. Plan is to spend time chasing the bigger fish such as Doggies, Mackeral, Wahoo etc. The boat is a 82 ft Cat with 4 Dory`s of 6m each. This allows us to split into groups of 4 in order to ensure that each spearo does what he wants. With 80hp outboards behind the Dory`s we can cover much more ground as well.

Aqua X-treme provides Dive education from your first underwater breath up to Leadership levels. Some people believe it takes a lot of time and training to learn to Scuba Dive. Nothing is further from the truth as at Aqua X-treme we support the Dive today philosophy. By facilitating you to discover the thrill of breathing underwater you overcome any reservations or misconceptions about Diving into the underwater world.
Aqua X-treme offers students a professional and safe learning environment and we offer a number of ways you can do your course. Whether you are a student (8 years plus) or a busy Executive, we will cater for your specific Diving needs.
You will begin using Scuba equipment followed by a dive in a swimming pool. This program introduces you to breathing underwater and is conducted over one session. This program caters for you if you are unsure whether Scuba Diving is your “Cup of Tea”.
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a sub course within the Open Water Diver course and is therefore a pre-entry level certification. This course is for you if you have time constraints or you wish to be accompanied by a Diving Professional on your underwater explorations.
