Company description
Looking for information on Scuba Diving? Whether it be Sport diving, Technical diving, Wreck diving or Fun diving.
You`re in the right place.
Since it`s launch, DiveXsite has become a trusted resource for scuba divers of all levels.
We conduct our dives in Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Gold Coast, Stradbroke Island plus trips overseas and locally.
DiveXsite is owned and operated by Master Scuba Diving Instructor, Mick Jordan.
Opinions, other than factual information, expressed within this website are entirely his own and may not be representative of Mr. Jordan`s employees and/or buisness associates. All material, unless otherwise indicated, is presented under the copyright of M. Jordan and DiveXsite (all rights reserved).
Michael ``Mick`` Jordan is a scuba diving instructor with many years of diving experience. He first started ``diving`` at Noosa in the late 70`s. Since then having dived all over the world in such exotic locations as the Red Sea, Cook Islands, Tahiti and Solomon Islands to the not so glamorous Brisbane River.
Originally qualified as a ``sparky`` (electrician), Mick owned his first business at 24 and went on to own a healthy and thriving Home Renovation business. After selling this business he managed to use his talents to travel the world for 6 yrs, doing odd jobs to help along the way.
It was in Colorado USA of all places that a renewed passion for diving was revived. With this new zest and the encouragement to continue his diving qualifications, he soon returned to Australia and became an instructor.
Mick’s dive interests includes the study of wreck archeology, along with deep and technical diving and wreck penetration - but his real interest lies in introducing new divers to the excitement of diving for the first time.
Since the launch of DiveXsite, it has enjoyed a healthy increase in diving participation both from divers and enquiries. This continuing trend has lead to many successful dive trips and overseas trips.
In 2005 plans have been set for dive trips to the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Truk. If you are interested in knowing more then please call or email, or see the relevant sections of our website.
Has it been a while since you were scuba diving? A little apprehensive about jumping in the water on your next dive holiday? Do you remember how to assemble all of your scuba equipment? Do you recall how to use your Dive Tables? When was the last time you and your buddy simulated an out-of-air situation?
Then join us for a Scuba Review!
We offer review and refresher classes to certified divers, regardless of where or with whom you were certified. The Scuba Review program consists of two parts: a Knowledge Review and a Confined Water Skills Review. The Knowledge Review segment covers basic safety information you learned during your entry-level training.
These courses are run when ever we are doing any pool training, however, since everybody`s situation is different, we can run a professional refresher program to suit your individual needs. For this reason, it is very important that you contact us to discuss your personal situation. In general there are three options and naturally the costs will vary depending on which option and openwater dives you require.
