Company description In the heart of the South Pacific, beneath southern skies, lies the island paradise of Fiji. If you travel to dive, to eat fine food, to bask in the sun, or to simply relax in a tropical paradise. Beqa Lagoon Resort, the only resort on the tiny, unspoiled island of Beqa, just might be what you`re looking for. The most striking feature of Beqa Lagoon Resort is its seclusion. Beqa Island has no roads, no towns and only a few isolated villages scattered around the perimeter.
Beqa Lagoon Resort`s private villas (called bures) are large and luxurious. Tucked in the coconut trees, just a few meters back from the beach, each bure is elegantly finished with rattan and bamboo and decorated with colorful splashes of fabric and works of art. Every beachfront bure has its own spacious courtyard with a plunge pool and bamboo fence to ensure your privacy. Every bure is an air conditioned mini-suite with a spectacular marble lined bath, a king poster bed and a sitting room with a double bed. Every porch has a table, lounge chairs and a wonderful view. And if you walk a few meters in towards the beach, you will find a cozy hammock to hunker down with your loved one or a good book.
Activities: diving, kayaking, sea scooters, hand line fishing, deep sea fishing and trawling, Surfing Safari, Firewalking, Mekes, Kava ceremonies, Village tours, Waterfall tours, Coconut shows, Nightly entertainment, Golfing day tours, Suva day tours and many more some at a reasonable cost and others completely free, but there is no doubt you can do as much as you like or as little as possible here on the lovely Island of Beqa. It is not uncommon for dolphins to swim along side our vessels beqa truly is a unique paradise.
Beqa Lagoon Resort which was previously known as Marlin Bay Resort 10 months back, has been going through some exciting changes. We are having a pleasant facelift with a new and larger pool being built which will be complete within the next 2 weeks along with that a pool side bar all a stones throw from the tranquil waters of Beqa Island as well as fully privatized beachfront accommodation with 12 Bures featuring their own private plunge pools, 6 bures with both outdoor and indoor showers.
In the long-term we are looking at a private Beauty Spa and upgrading our Boutique and Bure interiors, four of our six boats in turn are having upgrading work taking place now so as to improve every aspect of our product, while predominately catering for dive groups in the past, while maintaining this we are also with our new upgrades looking at encouraging the couples and honeymoon Market. Apart from our regular 5 star standard Menu we have now put in place a snack Menu and an A la carte Menu to further enhance what we have on offer to our guests.

Surrounded by over 190 miles of spectacular coral, Beqa Lagoon is one of the worlds largest barrier reefs. Diving these calm protected waters is like exploring another world. The water is clear and warm, visibility is typically over 100 feet, currents are mild, and the water temperature stays a fairly constant 80 F (26.5 C). Many of the most spectacular dive sights are only a few minutes from shore, and if you stayed long enough, you could explore over 100 different sights! The Dive Masters at Beqa Lagoon have been diving in these waters since they were children and are some of the most caring people you ever meet. Our divers know every reef and coral head, and if you stay close they will show you some of the most intriguing creatures ever. Blue Ribbon Eels, Clown Triggers, Lion Fish, Leaf Scorpions, Reef Sharks and millions of colorful Anthias and Fusiliers all abound in these waters.
