Albatross Diving Adventure was established by Andy Chan on Gili Trawangan in May 1988, becoming the first dive center on Gili Trawangan. Albatross pioneered most of the dive sites on the three Gilis and become the most experienced dive operator on the Gilis. One of the famous dive site that most visited on the Gilis is called Andy`s reef ( found by Andy Chan ) , couple years ago Albatross could guarantee the White Tip Reef Shark seen in every dive on this site.( DIVING INDONESIA - Periplus Dive Travel Guide Book). Three years later, May 1991 Andy Chan opened a new dive center, Albatross Diving Adventure was established at Senggigi Beach Lombok. In January 1994 Andy Chan decided to become a PADI Instructor, he flew to Hollywood - Florida, where he attended an IDC and trained as an MFA Instructor with one of the best instructor school in the United States, Divers Unlimited at Hollywood ~ Florida and since May 1997 Andy is a PADI Master Instructor. After twelve years in Lombok, the reputation of the Gili Islands has spread worldwide and so many diver want to dive at a different site`s, like Shipwreck or Drop off, so Andy Chan has decided to open a new dive center in Bali. In May 1999 Albatross Diving Adventure was established in Bali. Based between Sanur and Denpasar it is within easy reach of the airport and all dive destination around Bali.
