The usual diving cruise includes from 2 to 3 dives a day. However, our diving itineraries include several daily dives in addition to selected land visits to the best islands. This type of program gives the visitor an opportunity to understand that in the Galapagos, life above water is as spectacular as the one below!
At certain dive sites, such as Roca Redonda or the northernmost islands of Wolf and Darwin, we try to provide up to 4 dives a day! Night dives are also included, depending on the weather conditions. All dives in the Galapagos are made from a dinghy (panga as known in the islands).
And as a truly unique travel experience book one of our new land-based Galapagos vacation packages at the luxurious Hotel Royal Palm on Santa Cruz Island in combination with a 3, 4, or 7-night cruise in the expedition-style M/V Eclipse, M/V Galapagos Explorer II, M/V Galapagos Legend, M/V Santa Cruz or the M/V Xpedition.
The yachts M/Y Mistral and M/S Lammer Law are especially equipped for diving cruises. The yachts M/S Alta, M/Y Parranda and M/S Diamante also offer diving on specific dates, that are designated as ``diving cruises``. They can also be chartered for special ``diving groups``.

WARNING: Diving in the Galapagos is recommended only for experienced divers. Many of the best diving sites have strong currents and cold waters.
Location description: Two of the best-known diving yachts in the Galapagos Islands
are the M/Y Mistral and M/S Lammer Law.
Both yachts are especially equipped for diving cruises and there is no additional charge for diving.
In addition to the M/Y Mistral and M/S Lammer Law, Galapagos Tours and Cruises also offers the following diving yachts: Nortada, Flamingo, Letty, Coral, Delfin and others.

The M/Y Mistral, a 74-foot motor yacht, is capable of cruising at a speed of 10 knots. Fully equipped for diving, the Mistral is ideal for the more adventurous naturalist or diver, one who would prefer the intimate atmosphere of a smaller vessel. Accommodations are in 6 cabins accommodating up to 12 passengers. Each cabin has private facilities with hot and cold fresh water showers. The salon is bright and airy, with large windows and a warm atmosphere. At mealtime, there are two alternatives; inside dining, in the salon/dining room, with tables for 8 and 4 guests respectively or alfresco dining, on the aft deck, where all guests can sit together. The Sun Deck has ample space for sunning and napping.
The spacious M/S Lammer Law offers comfort for both the naturalist and the dive enthusiast. She is one of the two yachts in our fleet fully equipped for diving. The Lammer Law is a stable motor sailer trimaran and has a cruising speed of 10 knots. The yacht`s 9 very spacious cabins for 18 passengers have an abundance of storage room. Beds may be arranged either as doubles or singles. Each cabin has private facilities with hot and cold fresh water showers.
