A former Royal Navy diver saved drowning girl just two hours before his wedding
With wedding ceremony two hours away, Todd Sweeney was relaxing on his hotel balcony when he saw a 15-year-old girl at the bottom of the swimming pool.
The formal Royal Navy diver jumped over the balcony in dived in to pull her out. The girl had stopped breathing so Todd began CPR and yelled for someone to call an ambulance.
After the ambulance arrived a hero diver had to frantically dry his suit for marriage ceremony and rush in to Ayia Napa Town Hall where the wedding took place.
The teenager - called Sarah spent two days in hospital and made a full recovery.
