A French diver bled to death after the shark attack in the Red Sea

A shark has attacked and killed woman who was diving in the remote southern dive site called Marsa Alam. The woman bled to death after a shark bit her leg. Diver died before surfacing.

This is the first fatal shark attack for 5 years. Although there are a lot of sharks in the area and divers like to take pictures of these sea creatures, attacks are rare.

The president of the Society for the Preservation of the Red Sea Environment Amr Ali thinks that the victim aggravated the shark or presented it with food, which caused a change in the shark's behaviour.
