Facebook diving group is going to fight against underwater trash
Underwater enthusiasts who are the members of Facebook diving group called Two Wheel Divers decided to organise a cleanup event in Abu Dahabi, Arab Emirates.
One of the group leaders Zeus Azusa Shiraki, the diving instructor from Japan said they want to prove that even small group of people can make a big difference. She said that a lot of tourists and residents don't care about the environment and litter all over the beaches and overboard. By this event the group wants to start changing people's attitude and show that some people care about nature.
On their first event they expect to see about 70 to 100 volunteers.
After the event divers plant to organise a fund-raising dinner on June 26. Local divers who want to participate in the event can email to staraquarius@gmail.com for more info.
