A UAE dive shop owner and 22-year-old dive instructor have been jailed for having sex
22-year-old dive instructor Roxanne Hillier and her boss UAE national identified only as "MH" have been jailed after police raid for having sex. Roxanne sentenced to three months in jail and MH to six months in jail.
Both defendants had pleaded innocent to that statement and are going to appeal the verdict.
Freddie and Ina Hillier (parents of 22-year-old Roxanne) will continue to fight for her release.
According to UAE (United Arab Emirates) law you can be jailed for having sex before marriage.
