Connecticut diver and underwater photographer wrote children’s book
Connecticut SCUBA diver and underwater photographer Tim Watson wrote a book for children, called “Howard’s Search for a Home: An Underwater Adventure of a Moray Eel”. The book is full of fun animal facts, underwater photos and it tells about Howard, an old moray eel who has decided to retire and sets out to find a new home. This entertaining book is created to inspire children to learn about underwater life.
Tim Watson said he worked with aquarium staff to come up with interesting and fun facts about sea creatures including sea turtles, beluga whales and sharks.
“Howard’s Search for a Home: An Underwater Adventure of a Moray Eel” can be purchased at Lulu.com for $19.95, or can be downloaded for $12.50. A portion of the profit from the book will be donated to the Mystic Aquarium - the place where Watson has been diving as a volunteer for a number of years.
