Rescue divers save 2 men after Onodaga Lake crash, NY, USA
Local rescue team based in the City of Tonawanda (NY, USA) saved two racers after a high-speed crash during a race last Saturday on Onondaga Lake.
The crush occurred when one racer hit another hydroplane boat, at more than 120 mph. According to witnesses, one boat flew about 20 feet into the air and landed upside down. One unconscious pilot was pulled out by two rescue divers and three other divers assisted the second man. Both racers were taken to the local hospital where they were listed in good condition.
